I just visited last month. I stayed there for 6 weeks...
Agree that economy is booking but....
(1) too much pollution.
(2) No infrastructure to handle cars and two wheeleers.
(3) too much mosquito even in winter/summer. I do not know what will happen in rainy days.
(4) prices for every item have gone up by 3X..Most of the item I am not able to justify the rise. The quality of the product has not gone up.
(5) easy to set up business..get house...get car but tough to drive peacefully...need to pray god every morning so that we come back home with 2 hands and 2 legs and unbroken body parts.
(6) Club culture is booming too...so if you have daughter who is teen then need to check by that angle too.

After doing research, I am thinking that my case may move to Texas Service centre. If I get SRC receipt number, it will be good. My I-140 can be processed within 4 months.
Since it reached before July 30 it can reach anywhere !
Though I would say pray for TSC !

Got my EAD (the actual card ) and the AP today in the mail. Details are as follows:
EB2 India - Filed Sept 06
140 Approved by TSC in Apr 07
485/EAD/AP Filed on July 2nd at NSC (R Williams 9 :02 am)
LUD on 140 - 08/05
Recd EAD and AP - 09/06
Have not received 485 receipt or FP notice. EAD and AP are from CSC - I recide in CA.

For people who have already landed and were not able to get a PR card applied, please follow the following link and apply for it.

I feel Faxing 1 page document with the critical issues will have more impact in addition to the emails .

Good post. One question to you. Would you be able to give 7 days of your vacation early next year? I want to device a strategy for success. If you are interested we will work togther. And whatever strategy is formed, it will have blessing of IV and participating member. Please reply for this post. Be serious. I am not joking.
Not only you I need around 100 peoples one weeks time. So other people serious about getting GC, if you are willing to part away your valuable one week time that would be great.
I would like to stress, I am not dying because of GC. But I think we need to do something to get GC. Otherwise, we will be in QUE, a lonnnngggg QUE.
Hope I have some taker.

You could be looking at the wrong Service Center for the Receipting Update.
For example, you sent your application to NSC and now, you're looking at NSC Receipting Update which tells us "July 29"....and you question, I sent my application on July 5, why until now I don't have my receipts?
The most logical answer is that if your application was sent to NSC but transferred to TSC; you should look at TSC Receipting Update which says "July 2".

The way i understand this, not all companies are bound by the EOE laws.
Certain conditions have to be met to be considered an EOE.
Not every employer is an equal opp employer, so those guys can hire whoever they want.
Besides hiring folks on h1b, etc could add to costs for employers. So they choose not to employ such folks.

Did you get this notice or did your lawyer? Do you have an I-140 LUD update?
My lawyer got the notice and they scanned and sent it to me. My I140 is pending since Jan 2007 and there is no LUD update.

:)I applied for my wife's EAD renewal online on 11 august and got the card in mail on 15 sep. I guess this was a good experience.

I was shocked to read your post and tears rolled on my cheeks. But I admire your determination to achieve your goal. Oh my God! You are a different kind of guy, Please don't lose your hope.
