I verified my 485 Application status online and this is what I found can you guys tel what could this mean.
My I140 is not approved yet.
Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

As far as forum knowledge,Usually 485 approval updates would be either we sent u a welcome notice or approval notice sent or card production ordered etc.But when document mailed etc,i think it might be a RFE on ur 485 or may be ur AP document(by mistake,updated on ur 485).If u r extreme lucky,it could be ur GC!!!!
Anyway wish u goodluck,
Please update ur post when u recieve the document mailed by USCIS,

Furthur the letter states: If you fail to provide results of Lang test , an assessment will be done based on information you have provided and that may result is fewer points being awarded for language abilit, influencing overall eligibility.

Dude, are you serious? You will, only possibly, be laid off in April next year. Means you have got 4 months to find yourself a new job. You already are in I-485 stage, so you don't need any immediate visa to maintain status. And you are telling me you are distressed?
Grow up. I know many guys who are already sitting without job and valid status for 6 months, and even more. I mean, I can't believe you are serious.

Here is a run down on my case:
First I-485 applied in 6/2002,
Fingerprint done, EAD obtained in 2/03
Application withdrawn by spouse due to conviction
Second I-485 applied by my 2nd DW in 7/05
Interview granted in 5/06
Case still pending due name check
GC? till date
Anyone with a similar case and any advice on this case? I've spent about 30K USD on this case on Lawyers and still have NOT got any decision from the USCIS. Now , I'm considering filing a WOM. Whats your take on this? Thanks !

Hello,
I think you are fine to do day trading on any visa type.
Just because you conduct multiple transactions per day does not legally imply that you are paying any less attention to your regular job.
If you are called for an AOS interview, a curious IO may ask how did you manage both, but you can always show that you did your job well by providing copies of your performance evaluations and/or letters from your supervisors/HR.
In summary, good luck w day trading! Do donate part of the profits to IV... :)

yesterday in Lou Dobbs i heard that an illigal immigrant who was arrested at the border of mexico stole the border patrol vehicle and drove back to mexico in that vehicle. Later helicofters were sued to recover the vehicle. LOL...!!!!

This is just believe and what I think is something will be good for EB community. Specially those who has MS or Higer degree from USA. It can be tough for employee of small consulting companies. But that is Reform.
Ultimately they will hike H1b quota with some tight regulations so who ever is genuine can use it.
I know some people are saying that CIS wont be able to process all app and we have to suffer from Illegal people's filling. but if they add , recapture some visa for us in their CIR bill then dates will be current for us for some 1-2 years for sure and we can go to CP route and get green card thing done. I am 100 % sure that illegal people will not go to CP route. and CP route is very quick when dates are current.
only one thing I see if CIR passes.. Lawers.. they will be busy with illegal people and will not look at us because I am sure their fees will be higher than our straight cases and they want it desparetly than us. so lawer may not give attention to your case..

They usually issue the I-94 till the validity of the Petition or expiry of the Passport in some cases. In my case i had a valid stamp from May 2004 till Jan 2006, but I had a new H1 from a new employer in Oct 2004 which was approved till Jan 2007 and when I entered US in may 2005 I was issed a new I-94 till Jan 2007 even though the stamp will expire in Jan 2006.

So, the departure date in latest I-94 is the important date to comply with (to leave US or extend on time).

Also what are the documents u need to send along with the G639 form. Also if you can mention what to fill in each section that will be of great help.

Based on current estimates, it will be 10-15 years time, unless u r son/daughter can sponsor you prior... u will end up in family quota wait still.

I think we can get some financial support from Housing Market !
Facts:

The housing market is slowing down significantly and there are millions of unsold homes out there.
More than 1/2 million people are stuck in the green card process. I am sure
most are waiting for green card before they buy their house and make longtime commitment.
I think we are a "Frozen" pool of customers for the Housing Market.
500000 H1B X 200000 (average house price) = 100 billion dollar market is just
inaccessible just because of retrogression.
I think we should convince them to help us FINANCIALY.
Please IV Core members take this idea seriously and at least
SEND A LETTER TO National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) president.
