As per the discussion's from other threads about LUD, it's been largerly agreed that there is no relavance between the LUD change/not change to one's 485 application. Hopes this will clear your doubt.

any advice/suggestion in my case:

I-140 is approved on Jun 15, 2007, Premium processing, in Texas
I485 package delivered to Nebraska on July 2, 11:35 am and is singed by ... whoever..
I've registered on the https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp
site and all times before LUD for my I140 was 6/16/2007 until today
Today LUD for is updated to 8/12/2007.
Checks have not been cashed.

the above poster summarized it very good. here are some of my thoughts..
1) we can come up with a formal letter (standard one) which is well written and can be faxed to USCIS director or emailed.
2) we can also fax/email the same letter to ombudsman so that they are aware of this issue.
in my gut feeling ombudsman is as close as we can get to uscis if we need visibility to this. optionally we can use the same letter to send it to the senators/congressman.
The letter should be short, precise, upto the point, without any spelling mistakes, well written. if u look at this post itself, you could very well decide that i am not suitable for that job. can someone in eb3-I who has a good writing skill come up with such a letter and so that we can try what ever we can from our end. its every dog's battle here. and if sanyahari is fighting, its his / her right to do so. so what do u say folks?

EAD was about to expire before 90 days, so I took an infopass apt. The person that heard my case (soolemaga) was a d**k. Rude and impossible to communicate with. Anyway, he sent an email to someone at TSC after much cajoling and I get a call the same day from some nice lady from TSC. She says that my application for EAD is approved and I should get my card in 2 weeks. 2 days after I get the call from TSC, I get an email that card production is ordered!
I had initially called USCIS support with an expediate request citing Severe financial loss and I got a letter back that they are very strict processing expediate requests as they get a lot of such requests. So they had asked me to wait.

Go ahead and send them as well, after you are done sending the first 2 (your state) and the 10 other priority senators.
I have sent to my state senators + 10 senators IV identified. I have also sent an email to the ND senator after he voiced his support for our cause on the senate floor today. I now plan to write to all 2008 presidential candidates. Most importantly I am going to write to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, as he has always been a champion of business and immigrant communities.

Regarding feedback from the public on skilled legal immigration, read the article below. Then go to "Discuss" and see what Americans are saying about us. They are making a tough point that in these inevitable times of offshoring, we are coming here to take away jobs that are left.

We need to let it be known in a firm polite manner that

I also did the same thing. I got the scan copies from my lawyer. Print out will work (IO will verify yr name on receipt with yr photo Id).

One quick question - I do not have original 485 receipts with me but have scanned copies of them which my lawyer has emailed me. If I print them out and take them to the infopass, is that sufficient or do they ask for the original receipts?

Since you never got an H1-B stamped in your passport, you are not eligible for AVR (since there is no H1B visa to revalidate). You could do AVR for F-1 since you have that stamp but that is also NOT VIABLE any more because you are now not eligible/admissible for F-1.
I think, F-1 Visa to H1B AVR is allowed, when F-1 is adjusted to H1B in USA.

For your Information India's GDP is 3 trillion USD compare to Mexico 1 trillion USD. Taking into account GDP of EU India ranks 5th in GDP higher than any indivisual European nation where as Mexico ranks 13th. This is as per CIA worldfactbook. So where did you get the number

To begin with, this is not the place for me to explain to you the details of difference between Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) GDP (that you quote) and the market exchange rate GDP which I quoted. But since you raised the subject, PPP GDP is adjusted to accomodate for different inflation and consumption rates in different countries. Without the PPT adjustment, India's GDP is equal to Mexico's, even though India has 11 times the population of Mexico. The reason India comes in 4th with the PPP adjustment in the world is because the ruppee is undervalued and Indians have a purchasing power that is 4 times smaller than Mexicans. So, to humor you and use your method of calculation, the Per Capita GDP (PPP) Of India is $3,344 in 2006 and Mexico's is $12,886. "Where are all the Mexican doctores, computer scientists, economists and professors?" you ask. The answer is: They are IN MEXICO making huge salaries, when the Indian ones have to come here because their salaries in India don't give them enough money to eat. Why aren't all the construction workers and lawn workers in the U.S. Indian? Because they cannot affor the airfare. The Mexicans just walk accross the border. Any you know what? All those Indian Professors at Harvard etc are teaching class to all those rich Mexican kids. Get your facts straight before you confront me and make fun of my MBA (which I got in the U.S. incidentally, not Mexico, but if I had wanted I could have gotten a top 20 MBA back home). I just recated to people's racist attacks here. So now, if you have anything to contribute to our IV common cause, welcome! FYI, people who sent applications on Jun 22th to NSC and their I-140 were approved at TSC, have not received receipts yet.
NSC is around 10 days ahead TSC issuing receipts.
I would say, July filers be patient.

My 485 application was received by TSC on July 16th. Intrestingly there are threads that are tracking applicaitons from July 2nd to July 13th and July 17 to Aug 17th? What is wrong with 16th? Are there are one with the same receipt date here?
